We loved the athmosphere of the house and our room. The mini onsen was amazing, the crown for the end of the day. Best thing was our host Hiro-san who was funny and super helpful, thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy house and Takae and Yuriko were extremely kind hosts, welcoming us with some tea and snacks to their beautiful pension. They also offered to show us around in town a bit. The room and bathrooms were very clean and we especially appreciated the fireplace and wooden bathtub for a cold winter day.

The accommodation is in a beautiful and peaceful town, lots of great food and cafes nearby, if you want a break from the city this town is perfect. The accommodation itself is very clean, it has shared showers and a toilet with locks on them, ACs in the rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, check-in is very straightforward, they even let us store our items in our room before the specified check-in time.

We loved having a real Japanese experience. The town of Mashiko is amazing if you love pottery and being next to a pottery studio was an amazing experience.
