The staff are incredibly kind, polite and helpful. The simple room was clean and well equipped and beds were comfortable. We like to walk and found it close enough to the bus routes, restaurants and convenience stores. Hauling large luggage might be a bit difficult.

Easy to find. Extremely friendly manager who even though his English is poor makes you feel very much at home. An authentic experience I would not have been without. I would stay at Moto-Hakone Guest House again.

Great hostel. Staff is very kind and helpful, they have a ton of information to plan your trip. A very good place to explore Hakone National Park from. Bunks are very spacious compared to other hostels in Japan.
