Karin was so friendly and made our stay really comfortable - from providing detailed instructions for late check in, to offering to pack a snack bag since we were going to miss breakfast hours, to helping us store our luggage. The property MAY seem dated but it is extremely well maintained and sparkling clean. I actually liked it for its old school charm. Conveniently located in between Lago di Braies and Tre Cime di Lavaredo, will definitely recommend family and friends.

All information are included in the Booking description, so everything was as we expected. It is a farm on the hill, most probably you will need a car to stay there. It might look like end of the world, but well, that what people from big cities want. 10 mins walking down the road is a village with 2 restaurants/guesthouses/bars/pubs. Head torch might be handy when the days are short. We came from 4-star hotel in Villabassa, but did not have feeling that we came to lower standard accommodation at all. Being on the hill it is a first place enlightened with morning sun, and from the small windows on the horizon you see the mountains. So really a room with the view. The room is furnished rustically modern, or new Tyrolean, not sure what describes better. The bed was very comfortable with fluffy bedding. Modern and cosy bathroom with a big shower behind the glass wall. Bathroom itself is not built like another room, but it is a part of the room, separated by wooden walls which are ended about 20 cms under the ceiling. It means natural ventilation, but as well that the bathroom noise is not completely separated from the room. Breakfast is rich in variety, with an offer of all sorts of egg variations, pancakes, ... The whole place is nicely decorated with local historical wooden decorations, old family photographs, farmer tools,... On the other side of the building there is a cow-barn, hay shed, so you can see cows, rabbits, peacocks, chickens,... Can be interesting for family with kids. The owners were polite and friendly. Parking place is in front of the guesthouse. We were there just after Christmas, but during summer it can be nice sitting outside on their terrace, soaking sun and beer. Definitely we will come again.

Excellent! Great room in a wonderful old building in the mountains, best staff and the food is just exceptional. The bed was comfortable with 2 pillows options, bathroom very clean and well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff, and the food is next level. Breakfast is tasty and rich with freshly baked rolls, home made jams and honey directly from the hive, and all the dishes were perfect what we chose for dinner. Highly recommended, we will come back again soon.
