To be honest, there quite literally was nothing to not like. When I arrived, the owner came to meet me and since I don't speak any Italian he also had his sister come and help with the translation if needed. So from the start I felt really taken care of and the place was amazing, I had the room with the private balcony and bathroom. The place was really clean, breakfast was offered every morning, even when I asked the owner if there was a possibility to iron my clothes, I received a message an hour later that they left me everything for ironing behind the door. They were really caring and sweet and I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Andrea was a fabulous host from checking in and showing us the facilities and giving us a lot of good tips on what to see and places to eat. He gave us the choice of rooms as we were the only guests that evening and we chose the front room. He did warn us it was the noisiest though as it faced the street but we preferred to have the bathroom inside the room. The other rooms have a bathroom across the corridor which is not shared but for convenience we chose the room with the bathroom inside. The property is well situated and close to all attractions. We got a park right outside and did drive to a couple of places but that was more to save time as we checked in quite late after a long drive. The property was clean and comfortable. The shower was quite large by Italian standards and lovely and hot with great water pressure.

The special attitude from landlord Annamaria. We had excellent days, in a peaceful neighborhood, close to the center and to Laquila University. She had a daily organized breakfast which is average. Breakfast, hot drinks (tea, coffee-espresso machine), juices and cookies kept for 24 hours. We shared a flat with a French guy with a living area (separate room and WC). I must mention that on the last day, we had an early trip and we asked for help from Annamaria and she organized it very smoothly. Even she told us if there will not be any option for transportation she was ready to pick us up early in the morning :)

A wonderfully renovated property that has a unique character and provides a memorable experience. For international tourists, it really feels like postcard Italy. From the start Antonio was a friendly host who not only greeted and showed me around the premises, but also provided the story behind the history and renovation of the nunnery. A lot of hard work and attention has gone into the restoration. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well heated. The bed was comfortable. The common lounge and dining areas were welcoming and had everything you need. It’s a great space to meet other guests or take some time out yourself in the lounges. There were cakes and treats, and access to a fully functioning kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The breakfast is ‘self-serve and self-make’ which I liked because no need to worry about start/finish times. The property is slightly away from the town with views over the mountains. the night I was there all the guests were respectful of others and it was so quiet for sleeping. If you have a chance to see inside the church, it’s a great story.

The B&B was perfect. I loved everything about it. The breakfast room is lovely, the bedroom was great, bathroom too. The best part were the people. Marco was so kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious too. I cannot say enough good things. I will definitely come back!
