We were lucky to stay one night of our 2 nights stay completely alone in the villa. Paola is a great host, everything was carefully prepared for enjoying the place. Even it was freezing outside, the room and bathroom were well heated as well as other spaces in the villa. We loved the place, villa is amazing as well as the small park around the property. Would love to stay more!

Villa Morissolina sits at the top of a hill overlooking lake Maggiore. The interior and exterior are gorgeous, giving you the feel of living in a stately home, with service to match! The room was spacious and comfortable. The garden has an incredible view of the surrounding hills and lake. The food is superb, well worth paying for the surprise 5 course menu. The owners are friendly and welcoming and work hard to give their guests a 5 star experience.

We were made very welcome by Jarno. He met us at the parking spot and assisted us down to the B & B. He showed us to our accommodation which was on the top floor. He made us some delicious pizza on our first evening with a nice cold glass of wine. Jarno made a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. The accommodation was traditional, very spacious, clean and well equipped with balcony views which were breathtaking. This was a perfect place for us to unwind and relax away from the busy towns & cities.

This was one of the best places we stayed during our family trip to Italy. If you enjoy staying outside the town, surrounded by nature, peace, and quiet, this place is perfect. I especially recommend it for families with children. The hosting family – Melissa, Daniela, and Pietro – welcomed us with genuine warmth and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is unique: the house sits on the slope of a hill, surrounded by forest, with beautiful views. Just be prepared for a short drive on an unpaved road to reach it. There is also a large playground that children will love. The excellent breakfast was another highlight of our stay.

Paolo is such a great host. Warm and welcoming and especially at the breakfast he’s having a chat with all his guests individually. He’s asking for needs, daily plans and is giving nice recommendations. We stayed in Forsters Nest, which is located like in the second row behind the hotels and you can enjoy a beautiful lake view from the balcony. It has its own kitchen as well and the bathroom is very spacious. Great place to stay! Good to know: for breakfast you have to walk 4-5 minutes from Forsters Nest to Casa Forster.
