A quiet and safe neighbourhood, a beautiful house with magical energy. Just 10 minutes walk to the lake. Chihuahuas greet you on arrival and make your stay even better. We are sorry we had so little time, we would have liked to stay at least another day. I highly recommend it to all animal lovers. Very friendly and hospitable owner.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Amazing place close to Lago d'Orta and Lago Maggiore - private property with real Italian hospitality; very nice home made dinner, very nice breakfast, and heartfelt evening conversations in the garden with a glas of wine. (Bonus - there is a super cute dog that loves cuddles!). Overall just amazing attitude and perfect service of the hosts. I felt very welcome.

Incredibly clean, really super clean. Loads of towels. Carlo and Ettore are so kind. It got cold during our stay and they really set the heating up in less than half an hour. So amazing service. Definitely if you want to be in nature but still good accessibility to Lago Maggiore you should consider this Guesthouse. The views are great.
