We were so surprised when we arrived! House is even better than on photos. It is SO COZY!! There are so many little details, it is amazing. Once we arrived there we started to have a super good mood. There is everything that you can need and everything is in a very good state. Also we watched a netflix film on TV, it is super cool that there is a modern TV. I traveled in 25 countries and stayed in different hotels and guesthouses and this Haukaberg House is literally the best where I have stayed! I found no disadvantages at all. Bravo👏🏻

Room was impeccably clean! And plenty big enough for me and my two teenage boys, which is saying something. One of the biggest rooms we had in Iceland. Wonderful and complete continental breakfast.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse.

Great place to stay next to road Nr 1 in the southeast part of Iceland. Checking in and out is very easy and flexible (self checkin available if you arrive late), the room has everything you need for a few day long stay including: hair dryer, towels, bedsheets, kettle, tea, coffee, TV with english channels, hangers, carpark etc. Maybe a small fridge would be handy but since we were staying there in the middle of November, our car's trunk just did the job 🙂 The room was clean and spaceous for two of us. The crew is very friendly and helpful as well!

The hotel is very well located for any road trip in the South of the country or if you drive via the Ring road. Next to all points of interest nearby: Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, Hofn etc. The room we booked was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, lovely staff, the hotel is very spacious in the middle of nature with mountain and field views and had also nice facilities. We recommend it more than 100% and will definitely book there again if we come back to South Iceland.
