The setting is very peaceful overlooking the lake. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They arranged our boating trip on Monroe Island as well as organising a takeaway meal for us in the evening. They also organised the tuk tuk to drive us to our next destination. It was one of the best stays we’ve had in India

Quiet location on the beach but still only few minutes walk away from Varkala cliff area. Delicious local food. The team was very helpful and always at our service. The facility is actually bigger than appears on the picture.

The accommodation is super clean and well-equipped, with the highlight definitely being the large, cozy beds! It’s honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve had in all of India :) The host Kuma is incredibly kind and takes care of any requests quickly. Huge thanks to the whole team – the surf equipment and lessons are top-notch as well and the vibe is just amazing! Overall, the stay was a solid 12/10! I’ll definitely stay here again :) The location is a bit outside, but therefore, absolutely beautiful, and with a scooter, you’re just 8 minutes away from the cliff of Varkala

Kallayi Beachside Resort is just 100 meters from the beach and set in a peaceful, relaxing location. The caretaker, Faizal, and his family were exceptionally warm and helpful, always ready to assist with even the smallest needs. Faizal also recommended some great must-visit places nearby. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to friends.
