Marie, the boss :-). Helped us with everything and made us feel at home. Kindness embodied. Extra spacious rooms. Bathroom very large. Common room with fridge/bar. Great breakfast. After an Irish breakfast Marie gave us her house-made scones for underway !

Great location in the centre of town. Wonderful staff and great owner very responsive to the needs of their customers. The room was clean and quiet. The meals in the restaurant were tasty with a nice presentation. Thanks all y'all for everything!!

Waldo and Jirka were excellent hosts. So welcoming and informative. Jirka serves a wonderful farm style breakfast! The room had everything we wanted, wonderful shower, nice coffee stand with hot water, coffee and tea, stylish decor, chairs, table and a luxurious and super comfortable bed. The travel brochures and books were a nice touch.

Wonderful room, really clean and big, with a huge beautiful bathroom and quiet surroundings. Super breakfast (freshly prepared and both continental and traditional) and, last but not least, very warm and helpful hosts. We would love to come back, highly recommended!!!

We had such a nice stay at Glenvela Guest House and were a bit sad we only stayed for one night. Everything was exceptionally clean, our room and the whole house were lovely (every room has their private bathroom) and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. However, the best thing about our stay were Maureen, Ronald and their three dogs - we could not imagine better hosts, and the dogs welcomed us with much enthusiasm and we were happy to follow their request for extensive cuddling (I must add that the dogs are kept in a private area of the house and the hosts only let them out when the guests are comfortable).
