Foley’s Townhouse is a great hotel and it is perfectly situated on the Main Street of Killarney. If you are planning a trip to Killarney this is a great place to stay. Also, I would recommend dining at foleys restaurant.

Where to start? First of all, the location is great! Just two minutes by car from Killarney, on a quiet street and surrounded by its own peaceful woodland. My husband and I were greeted by Connor, one of the owners, and received lots of valuable information about Killarney and the area. His wife, Brigid, was just as friendly and open. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade brown bread and produce from local farmers. The double room we stayed in was bigger than expected and had a wonderful outlook onto the garden and woodlands. The bathroom was spacious and had a great waterfall shower head.

A 2-minute walk from Killarney town centre, Killarney Lodge offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout. The Lodge is within walking distance of the world renowned National Park.

The guest house was warm and welcoming, it was akin to a small hotel and was very professionally laid out with a welcoming atmosphere. I was staying in the Birches to participate in an event so the morning breakfast was very welcome and fulfilling. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Birches Killarney to anyone be it for a business or leisure trip.
