Such a lovely host! Last minute booking and we were welcomed so well. She even brought us a tablet with tea, milk, sugar and biscutes right before midnight. She served an amazingly delicious breakfast the next morning. Would definitely book it again if I am around!

What impressed us most was the incredible warmth and hospitality of Margaret and Jim. We were welcomed with genuine kindness and care, like long-not-seen family members. We travel a lot but we have never experienced such heartful hospitality in our lives. The cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. Just for fun, I tried to find some dust or dirt – even under the bed – but there was no chance! Margaret and Jim had clearly made sure everything was spotless. Our room (#1) was not only comfortable but also had a beautiful view of the sea. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was pure relaxation. Margaret and Jim also recommended a local fish and chips seller just down the road. It’s a small eatery with various seating options, and we noticed many locals eating there – always a good sign. For just €9.50, we got a huge portion of fries and some excellent haddock. Very, very tasty! The breakfast in the next morning was also fantastic and left nothing to be desired. In Conclusion: We will definitely return. For us, the Bethel Guesthouse was more than just accommodation – it was a true home in Ireland. Thank you, Margaret and Jim!
