Wonderful room, really clean and big, with a huge beautiful bathroom and quiet surroundings. Super breakfast (freshly prepared and both continental and traditional) and, last but not least, very warm and helpful hosts. We would love to come back, highly recommended!!!

A really exceptional accommodation. Maureen and Ronald were the best hosts we've ever met, friendly and helpful. Our kids loved them and their cute dogs. We couldn't wait to get back from the trips back to Glenvela house. In addition, the rooms were stylish and beautifully decorated. The location was beautiful and quiet. Thank you!

Dear Mrs. Martina.. we are very grateful to God, we were allowed to stay in your peaceful, quiet and most importantly, loving home. You not only provided decent accommodation, but I also found God's love from within your heart.. You are like a mother to us who are on pilgrimage to Knock.. We only rely on God's help and it is truly manifested through you. I will always remember all your kindness and help. And what is clear is that God will always bless and be with you.. forgive us for bothering you.. greetings to your husband and your entire family.. I am sure and believe that God's blessings will continue to flow to your children and grandchildren.. once again, thank you..

Nice and quiet village perfectly situated to explore the surroundings. Very nice personel, and the breakfast was enormous! The room was big and cosy, and the bathroom was perfect. Very short way to Rathcroghan, the Celtic site with enthrilling excavations and information about Ireland in prehistory. Many places to visit within a short drive, which suited us very good. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything. The house is beautiful, the room was perfect, the quality of everything was exceptional. Tommy and Pam went above and beyond to make me feel welcome with a pot of tea and a scone when I arrived after a long day. The house is so quiet and the breakfast was fantastic. Will be back again when I’m next in the area.

Our host was amazing and looked after us really well. She organised a taxi for us when we needed it as well! She cooked us lovely breakfasts and I loved the strawberry yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. The room was spacious with a lovely outlook. Close to a laundrette and Lidl. Very happy.

Our host was just exceptional. Tommy was the full time host and he was so attentive I was just amazed. Plus he's a fantastic cook! And all the help in navigating and finding fun and interesting places to visit was so helpful, better than any tour guide could have been. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for all of us. Very quiet country setting but lots to do near by, more than I thought.

From start to finish my stay at Glenvela House was exceptional; the communication between myself and the hosts, the set up, comfort and cleanliness of the room, the friendly atmosphere, the idyllic setting, the excellent breakfast and the welcoming doggies. Exactly what I needed for my quick stay. Though I could have definitely stayed longer quite comfortably! Would highly recommend.
