Quiet but central wooden huts. Breakfast (we were the only guests but got a very good cappuchino and traditional Indonesian rice free breakfast. Very helpful were free bicycles to the Borobodur temple area entrance which is now no longer a short walking distance, but has been recently moved a 20-30 walk away. Important about Borobodur under the new regime: Make sure you book online ahead of time the „structural tour“ with roof access. Without it you will likely be disappointed.

In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

Good location, several OK restaurants nearby. Beware of the junk food outlets. Walking is feasible in Magelang! Little side streets are peaceful. Not that there is much to see or do here, but two jumbo volcanoes loom nearby and can be visited. Rooms are clean but on the bleak side. Bathroom basic. Efficient new AC. Slept well. McDonald's close but Coffeeville down the road is much nicer.

Magic place surrounded by nature and rice fields, the best solution for visit Borobudur temple and take a break from the caos of the city. Beautiful swimming pool and Javanese bungalows, Bobby is so funny and do his best to make you feel relaxed and at home. Breakfast super and tour organized by Bobby among rice fields with local people was the best experience we had!

That it is right in the middle of rice-fields. One may stay here just to relax and live /relive a relaxed village life. The homestay is gorgeous with Buddha statues and other statues, cobbled paths. Sit on the benches and see an old man guiding his flock of very disciplined ducks from the fields to back home; small boys flying kites; wake up to the sound of birds and go to sleep to the sound of either frogs/ lizards(could not make out what was it😄). Cycle the nearby villages with green fields on either side; locals cheerfully wishing you; you can cycle to Borobodur too / walk to the placs. cycles are provided by Rumah Dharma. They also arrange tickets for you for Borobodur. Do remember climbing the temple is not open on Mondays. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms even more spacious. The staff is very welcoming. You enjoy local food. They arranged a very good driver/car for airport pickup/dropoff; visit to Prambanan and Mount Merapi. What I also enjoyed is unlike hotels, all the guests were sitting in the open areas, playing board games, chatting with other guests. We absolutely loved our stay here. A warm shoutout to the staff who were excellent!

Clean and modern rooms with great river views and grounds. Very caring staff recommended us a great Thai place for dinner which we loved. Food at the restaurant was great lots of lovely vegetarian options and very fresh and healthy breakfast too. Enjoyed ourselves very much thank you!!

Friendly and helpful hosts, the husband and wife team, provided me with excellent advice for touring around the neighborhood, and I really enjoyed my time there. The room was quite spacious and had a natural or forest environment. There were plenty of food options available nearby. You can even order some great food using the Grab application, and the Grab drivers were friendly enough to deliver it to my doorstep, even though my room was a bit away from the lobby. I had a very restful sleep during my stay due to the rich oxygen levels.
