That place is just amazing! Unbeatable location – 1 min walking distance from the main street with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets, but sooo quiet, feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The property looks like brand new, there’s a garden with pool and a bar where you can have breakfast, homemade lunch and dinner. The pool area is so nice, water is very clean and warm enough. We went with a friend for a “workation” and stayed for 10 days, rooms were cleaned every day and we had new sheets and towels every other day. Wifi is perfect, we were able to work without any problem the whole time. Kostas, Fotula and the rest of the staff are such a nice people, they helped us with everything we needed, that place really felt like home. Can’t wait to visit again, thanks guys!

The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay! The location is excellent — we had a car and could easily reach many beautiful beaches within a short drive. It’s also just a quick 6-minute drive to the ferry for Paxos, where you’ll discover paradise islands. The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable — we slept like babies! ❤️ Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Spacious appartement with kitchenette and nice terras. A lot of lovely kitties 😍 The host was very friendly and gave us a bottle local wine, which is a nice gesture (the irony is that there was no bottle opener in the kitchen)

My stay at Katafygio was fantastic from the first moment; Maria is marvellous and puts a lot of care both in the rooms as well as the restaurant. I stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment of it. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant multiple times and adored the home cooked meals. Maria went out of her way multiple times to make something different for my diet, and even surprised me a few times! As for the room, it was quite big and I appreciated the tall shower and very comfortable bed. I’m still dreaming of her feta, zucchini fritters, cakes and homemade jams. If I ever return to Corfu, this will be my first stop!

The room was very fresh and was just what we expected due to the pictures. The hosts were also very helpful during the whole trip and recommended us to rent a car to explore the island, which we did and it was amazing. Since the price for the Guesthouse was very cheap, we had plenty of budget to spend on activities such as a boat rental, and daily cruise to see Sivota and the blue lagoon. My girlfriend and I did not realise Kavos was a party town, but since we spent all time exploring Korfu it did not bother us at all, and the Big Max Guesthouse was the absolute best alternative for us.
