The place was perfect. There were sufficient linens, towels, toiletries, making the room comfortable to stay in for a few nights. Food and snacks were provided in the communal area, which were useful for our breakfast. The location is close to the centre of Portree, which was perfect to explore the Isle of Skye. Overall a great experience and would definitely book this place again if we were back in Portree!

If there are a score beyond 10 for excellence, I would have given it to Taigh Scalpaigh. Mina is one of the most welcoming host we have ever met, staying at a B&B. When she heard we weren’t able to take breakfast the following morning bcos we were going for a hike, she prepared a bag of goodies n snacks for us to bring along. The room was clean, everything you need. And every day when we came back from our walks n visits, she would leave desserts, cakes and on our last night, a bottle of beer n wine on our bed! Breakfast prepared by them every morning was delicious with a huge spread of other items for you to choose from. And finally, the views surrounding the house were magnificent. We stayed 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer.
