We were a group of four adults, and this was our first stop on a 5-day walking holiday in the Cotswolds. The Siam Cottage is an easy walk from the train station, perhaps five minutes. It's perfectly located on the High Street. We had two rooms on separate floors, and both oozed the charm you can only get from a quirky centuries-old building. Both rooms had exposed stone walls and beams. The beds were comfy, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We had the larger top floor room which resembles a small suite with a private door at the bottom of the stairs. It was initially a bit warm, but we learned that opening the bedroom door and placing the fan to draw air from the private foyer cooled the room nicely. Since there is another locking door at the bottom of the stairs, privacy was not an issue. The owner was wonderful, taking his time to walk us to our rooms, providing tips for sightseeing, and going out of his way to assist with our luggage transfer service. We also ate in the dining room, and we each enjoyed the dishes we ordered. Dining will be reviewed separately, but suffice to say it was also recommended. The Siam Cottage was a great start to our first trip to the Cotswolds. Highly recommended. Cheers!

Great location, lovely rooms and place, very Cotswold-like, incredibly sweet and attentive hosts, Jeff greated us when we came and ensured we had all we needed throughout the stay. Breakfast was delicious. I also recommend the pub restaurant next door but book in advance. Can't fault this B&B

The room had everything we needed, very comfortable, lovely and warm. Fresh milk and delicious cake was provided which was a huge added bonus. Breakfast was cooked fresh, great variety. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The host Tim and his wife were charming and most helpful. The accommodation is within a lovely Cotswold stone building. The room had character with exposed beams and brickwork detail. It was very cosy and the double bed was very comfortable. It was remarkablly quiet. The restaurant is welcoming and very popular even on a Tuesday night. My Green Thai Chicken was exceptional. Overall a great location to explore the town and local places of interest, and indulge in outstanding Thai cuisine.
