A wonderful bed and breakfast, with very friendly and helpful hosts, a great room and excellent breakfast. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again, if ever in the area. We appreciated the upfront message telling us that most restaurants have limited availability in February, so we could make our own dinner arrangements ahead of our stay. The area of Lochinvar is beautiful and certainly worth a visit.

David and Irene are the most lovely, genuine, witty hosts I ever met. Welcoming us when we arrived and the second day when we got back; it felt like home away from home. David makes a smashing breakfast (thanks again, chef) and Irene is honorary mayor of Assynt with her extensive knowledge of the region. They helped us plan our day and the rest of our trip. If you want a true bed&breakfast experience, do not hesitate one bit: Tigh na Sith is your home away from home in Assynt.
