We stayed in the garden room, and it was delightful! Large, well appointed and comfortable, with our own access to a shared garden. The hosts attention to detail was very apparent, and the room reflected this. Very centrally located, and a brisk walk to the royal mile. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly nice and attentive. The accommodation is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, yet still very close to the city center – the perfect balance. The landlord was very helpfull with good advice for restauant, how to travel to Edinburgh, and was an amazing breakfast-Chef, respecting my no lactose/no carb diet. 😊🌻 Fine family, good dogs, good room and bathroom, car parking in the street, very quiet situation, 3 busses and train to Edinburgh... great!!

the facility is a 10-minute walk from the strict tourist old town. in the close vicinity there is a shop, pubs, bakeries, restaurants. the facility itself is a cozy place. We were welcomed by the delectable owner, we got the keys earlier than expected. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend breakfast, fresh juices, compote, fruit and small snacks to choose from while we wait for the owner to personally prepare a wonderful English breakfast. in the room iron and ironing board, fridge, tea and coffee making set, hair dryer, cosmetics set. If we return to Edinburgh it will probably be Mr Tommy.
