Exceptionally clean and friendly. Amazingly fast interaction to everything we asked. Shared Breakfast policy which we loved , made us feel like home. Bonus: It has a very nice window with an inside sofa on the sill. Really cool to enjoy your coffee lying on it.

The stay was a really lovely one! Would certainly recommend to everyone out there. The hosts were really friendly (and chatty, looking at you James! I contacted the host the day prior to our arrival asking if we could drop our bags off earlier than the check-in time, eg 12.00noon with the official check-in being 3.00pm. The reply was that would not a problem and as she was not going to be home until 6.00pm, just ring the door bell and the cleaner would let us in. Also, our room would be ready for us. The room we had was very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast selection was great and very nice too. The location of the guest house good as only about 15 minutes walk from the main centre of Edinburgh. Also, there was a nice reasonably priced bar/restaurant almost across the road.

It has been lovely to come back here one year later my first trip in Edinburgh, where I slept in this marvellous Guest House already once. For this reason when I got the availbility I booked immediately again to be cuddled in this welcoming and cozy structure. I want to thank Kate for the virtual assistance and Maggy and Gordon for the little chats we had the first and the last day I have stayed. The Guest House is in a quiet area close by the Edinburgh city center, you could take lots of buses to get the beautiful Royal Mile and the other great places the city offers. I've again loved the kindness, the cleanliness and the complete bath set with a bathrobe too and free still Scottish water in bottle and biscuits everyday. I hope to enjoy Edinburgh and the Guest House in the future again.
