Best breakfast we've had in Scotland. Made fresh between 8-9 AM. Cosy house with wood-burning fireplaces - perfect for the cold days. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. If we ever have the chance to visit Aviemore again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

First visit to Carn Mhor most definitely won't be our last , amazing B&B in Avimore from the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for Adrian. The owner Adrian offers generous sincere hospitality and delivers thoughtful unexpected high quality extras not usually offered at B&B's.Location is fantastic only a short walk into Aviemore village and 10 minutes drive into the Cairngorms mountain Range , many more tourist places only a short drive away . Very dog friendly with a huge field behind the B&B and plenty of car parking space . Breakfast was piping hot and delicious with first class products used .Adrian was always on hand and so accommodating telling us best places to eat and advised us where to visit , always updated us on the weather in morning,nothing was too much trouble thank you Adrian for an amazing stay , we will most definitely be back and will highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing bed and breakfast to stay at Carn mhor . Look forward to next time .

The room was clean and cosy. Equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've had at a B&B. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The owner was nice enough to allow us to self-check in at a later time than the usual check-in times. The view of the mountains out the room window was beautiful. Very convenient location, too.

very clean, modern with great facilities. staff were very friendly and attentive, the hotel is very central and easy to access all shops and bars. Amazing value with our breakfast included, cannot fault it.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

The place is wonderful! The host is very welcoming and offered us really good advice about the hiking roots around, places to visits, restaurants & pubs. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot, prepared with very fresh and natural ingredients. And honestly - the best homemade muffins I've ever tasted!
