If you want to try something different to a hotel - this is it. The hostess was great. She speaks English but still offers a very authentic French experience. The room and living area are not only comfortable, clean and very spacious, but also beautiful. It's an old building - I think an old military barracks, but beautifully restored. Breakfast was also authentically French. This means not huge amounts of food, but smaller amounts of very high quality food - think fresh strawberries from the garden, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh baguette, fresh croissants, home made jam, French butter, excellent coffee etc...

Everything about staying here was great. From breakfast to the rooms to the hostess who was more than accommodating and friendly. I think my favorite part of the stay was the additional dinner that could be purchased/reserved ahead of time. Not only was it a great deal, but the food was wonderful and gave you a real feel of the local cuisine of the area. It was a wonderful surprise.

Everything was brilliant, so much care has been given to guests needs. I would like to suggest a tea cloth would be useful to dry crockery and cutlery.

We loved the board games in the apartment. There was a great selection of equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom was also well stocked. Free parking also easily located close by.

The host was very friendly and helped us with diner and breakfast. We had a very good conversation in the shared garden. It is a very special place because it is next to a destroyed village in the so called red zone. We were on a cycling trip along the river Meuse. This place is 10 minutes away from the main sites of the battle of Verdun.. We will certainly come back and cherise a beautifull memory.

The facility has a lovely garden and terrace for breakfast. We got a whole floor with own exit. The place is very quiet and has everything for small group or family with 1-2 kids to stay. The owner is very helpful, speaks French and German.
