This place is devine, beautifully furnished, lovely pool, very comfortable beds and the breakfast is exceptional. Homemade jams freshly squeezed orange juice. Host exceptionally helpful. We took a lovely evening stroll into town and had dinner.

Extremely comfortable, quiet and clean. The perfect holiday. Superb host, nothing was too much trouble. Secure parking. Lovely breakfast. Nevers is a "hidden gem". I love the place more every time I visit.

Beautiful Chateau, quiet location but compensated for by one of the owners - he being a chef cooking a superb 3 course meal with wine for a really great price.

When I give this location 10 points, I realize it is a very subjective opinion, influenced by the fact that the place has special bonuses for us - the history of the house itself (a WWI recreational facility for French and later US front-line troops), and the amazing collections of WWI memorabilia and Japanese art the owners have on display and which we were permitted to see. That having been said, the location was fine in itself - a less than 15 minute easy walk from the station, on a nice and quiet street, 5 minutes walk from the beautiful historical city centre, no problem checking in and a warm welcome, good room albeit perhaps not to everyone's taste - we got the `Out of Africa' theme room full of African art, but there is also a `Great Gatsby' room and others, ask if there is a choice. Nice lounge (shared with other guests if any, there weren't that day) where you can prepare your own dinner (we did), good beds, pillows are always an issue for me so I cannot really judge them. Good shower, breakfast, hygiene impeccable. Host was so kind to let us keep the front door key after she left for the day so we could leave our luggage behind in the hallway, guarded by two French cavalrymen, till we had tot leave in the afternoon and drop the keys in the letterbox. Recommended as such and for a special experience.

The building is in an enclosed area with a gate. Parking was great for big cars as there was a lot of space. Parking was easy and secure. The room was big and clean. The mattresses were comfortable. There was no WiFi onsite but we had good WiFi coverage on our own devices. There is probably a WiFi pole nearby. Great place for a stopover. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. We will be back if in the area again.

The most beautiful building, lovingly restored with exceptional taste, very modern but with great care to keep it authentic. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

We spent a night at Les Indrins, on our journey back to the UK from Spain. We were not expecting such lovely château with it's original decor. Friendly host that makes the best coffee, definitely incurages to book a longer, relaxing stay.
