Beautiful, old but well refurbished. Well appointed near to the village in an ancient property with modern interior. Lovely and clean, comfortable and easy with a good shower room and small modern kitchenette. Perfect for our needs. Friendly, kind and helpful owner who was on site for any queries but gave us space.

This incredible chateau has a remarkable history and has been transformed beautifully into the 21st Century offering all the luxuries and comfort for a relaxing and enchanting vacation. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the facilities such as the swimming pool, enhanced the overall experience. Our timing was perfect (late June) for all the lavender blooms, and we just couldn't take enough photos of the beautiful property.

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

Perfect room!, super clean and beautiful, very big and has a wonderful locaiton in one of the most beatiful and lively vilages of Provence. Aurelie and Sebastian are charming and gave us a lot of helpfull information. I highly recommand it, and hope to come back soon!

Our stay at here was incredible. We loved the accommodation and pool with those incredible views. Our host made a fantastic breakfast and offered great suggestions for our time here. Beds very comfortable. The town is a great spot to base yourselves for exploration of towns in Aix en Provence travelling by car. We’ll be back!

Absolutely stunning grounds. The pool area, terraces, common areas were all beautiful. We had access to weekend yoga and Pilates under a beautiful tree which was a stunning experience. Our toddler loved the frog pond and access to some games.
