There was secure parking. The hosts were exceptionally friendly. The property has been recently renovated in a way that was sympathetic with its age but at the same time tasteful and now. Our room contained original stone walls as well as a waxed natural wooden headboard. The bathroom was tiled in marble with matching marble basins. The bed was comfortable, the pillows so soft and the duvet light as a feather. We have never slept better.

This lovely apartment was a great 2 night stay for us as we rested from our walk on the GR65. Veronica and her husband were delightful hosts. The apartment is comfortable and expresses the elegant flair of the owners. The apartment is located in the middle of everything you need to see in Cahors. We especially enjoyed the market , and St. Ettiene church. The hearty breakfast had us ready to go again and we walked 35kms to Montcuq the following day. It was a lovely stay!

What a charming place, we loved our stay here & are sad it was just one night! Loved the decor/artwork & general layout. Kitchen covered our general needs. It was peaceful, beautiful throughout, log burner with plenty of logs was most welcome, electric blinds were great! Views were lovely & river is in walking distance with a great circular walk or walk into Cahors! Local shop at bottom of road was great to grab picnic lunch for our ongoing journey! Though we never met Laurence, contact to access property & instruction to use all facilities was great! We hope to return to spend time exploring the area further & would 100% want to come back here! Our dogs were also most welcome & had a great trip as well!

Your host, Didier, is probably the most friendly and informative people you will ever meet. You will receive a warm welcome and his knowledge, not only of the local area but also its history, is formidable. He is very modest about it but he is also a wonderful cook so if you are given the opportunity to have a meal at the property do yourselves a favour and say yes, and I promise you will not be disappointed. The property is large open plan and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. We stayed in a first floor room with a balcony which enjoyed views for miles around of the beautiful countryside. The bed was very comfortable and thanks to electronic blackout blinds we slept very well. The outside space has decking around a small pool and is very well organised for lazing away a hot summers day. Cahors is approximately 12 Km away and the property is also ideally placed for touring the beautiful Lot Valley. I would definitely recommend this property and I look forward to staying there again when I am in the area.
