Super easy check--in and a fabulous host. Just a short walk into town where there are plenty of lovely little pubs and restaurants. Fabulous breakfast with a lot of choice and regular refills. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy to find, in the suburbs of Essen, in a quiet neighborhood with a small parking available. Warm welcome from the owner who is very friendly and accomodating (I arrived earlier than planned and she was there within 10 minutes after I called her !). The room is very comfortable, quiet and clean. Nothing is missing, a small convenience kitchen is even available in the room ! Will most surely come back !

Checking in was done via a phone call for a key safe so never met any staff but the lady on the phone was pleasant. The room itself was wow. I wasn't expecting a full apartment but that's what it was and it was great. Plenty of space and comfy beds. Good amenities inside with kettle, coffee percolator and microwave. Even a little roof top area.

This family-run hotel is in a quiet side street, between Essen Main Station and the exhibition centre. It offers a daily buffet breakfast and good public transport connections.

very friendly and bubbly owner. helped me with the luggage up the stairs. location is just round the corner from public transport and the commercial area - supermarkets and food are abundant. beds were comfortable, room clean. some people might find the pillows too soft, but it was fine for me.
