Everything. Design, construction, decor, the little things, the drive to the train for departure all ex ellent. I enjoyed first a bus ride on no. 15 up a valley, waited 15 minutes near bus at last stop, then return. Then I took bus 3x ( trams out for construction at the end of that line) to the point of two museums on a cross roads, maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Stopped in that vicinity, then walked up the road, turned left, second right, to see homes in that area from over a hundred years of age. Arrived botanical gardens corner, walked down through path in trees, then left past zoo. Locals out walking. Cold drink at tennis club, then strolled up that hillock a d down and back to botanical gardens. I recommend the gardens, with aquariums, a few birds upstairs, crocodile (unexpected) in the tropical/ desert.glasshoyses. plus there are outdoor gardens of great variety, labeled plants, shade and sun. Neither too big nor too small. Ice cream from Six Cafe recommended. Walked back to see North Bohemian natural history museum. Recommend. Bus 3x to town, supermarket near Fygneriva stop. Previous evening St Anthony the Great Church, and city square.

The little Pension was comfortable and located close to the train station. The room was warm in the winter, and the little bar downstairs is welcoming. Bathroom was good and included a bath. What sets it apart from other places that I have been is how incredibly helpful the staff were. Before arriving to the pension, I stupidly left my phone in the taxi (bolt). To cut a long story short, over the course of a day, they managed to hunt down the bolt driver and contact him and arrange to get my phone back to me. This was not a small task, as the information I gave to them to help was vague. I have not experienced such amazing care for a guest in the many hotels that I have been to before. Děkuji Detektivní Pleštil.
