Trudi's home was.charming, centrally located in the old town with easy access to all the main attractions. Comfy bed, nice decor, lots of history to the building and one of the best breakfasts we've had anywhere.. Trudi herself was unobtrusive yet knowledgeable and nice to chat to over breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The staff who received us was very friendly and knowledgeable. They inquired about our travels and offered recommendations for our evening. As first time visitors to Switzerland, they also informed us about how most fountains running in the city are clean potable drinking water. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hotel is about 12-13 minutes of walking distance from the main train station and it has a tram line almost just around the corner to take you to the station if you don’t prefer walking. So the location is very convenient. It has a simple yet filling breakfast option containing cheese, bread, jams, and cereal. But the kitchen utensils can be used anytime so you can throw a simple meal if you want. It is very clean and has a good roof view. There is a church nearby but you get used to the sound of the church bell very quickly in my opinion. The hotel itself is very quiet. The Internet connection is very good. The hotel personnel is very welcoming. I would stay there if I ever visit Zürich again.

The place was overall comfortable and crossed my expectations. I checked-in very late around 9:30p.m. & I would not recommend it as the street lights are not enough and It was difficult for me to identify the place. If you reach before sunset, it is indeed an amazing stay. The host is very humble and welcoming.
