You get what you pay for, a no frills stay in Kandersteg. The rooms are simple but good quality, everything was clean, bathroom was good, free parking onsite. We had a very nice dinner in their restaurant at night, breakfast was good.

A beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean room in a car-free and 'you can hear a pin drop' quiet village with views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau at the Top of the World. Fabulous, fairly priced and varied food - "home"cooked by people who care about ingredients. Friendly, caring and kind staff. Staying at the Eiger Guesthouse means free entry to Muerren's Sports Center - with a 25 meter - again spotlessly clean - pool, and whirlpool. 5 CH (Swiss Francs) more to sit outside in the hot tub looking at gorgeous mountains. Hiking is incredible here -- and the wildflower meadows are stunning.

I had an amazing stay! The restaurant system is fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. The terrace is beautiful with a breathtaking view, perfect for relaxing. Everything about this accommodation was perfect. The house is peaceful, and the sound of Swiss cowbells outside is simply beautiful. Waking up to the morning view felt unreal, and the kitchen inside the room was fully equipped and spotless. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was incredibly cozy. Among my 15-day trip, this was one of the most memorable places I stayed. The host was truly, genuinely kind. If I could, I would stay here again for years. Even after returning to Korea, I still miss this place. I will definitely visit again someday.
