Breakfast was extensive and excellent; many of the items were homemade such as the bread, the yoghurt, the selection of jams and the orange juice. Fresh fruit, muesli, some very fine cheese and limitless coffee. Right away we were greeted by the hosts who are fluent in french, english, dutch and spanish, who invited us for a welcome drink - an Orval for me, a peculiar glass of white wine for my partner which tasted of Elderflower. The room was large, cool even during the heat of the summer, and there was no ambient noise from outside or the other rooms. They suggested for dinner a brasserie with good food and a good price, which was within walking distance through fields rather than residential areas - a nice short walk after an expansive dinner was very nice.
