The Maison is an old "hotel particulier" - think of the town residence of a wealthy family from a couple of hundred years ago - and has been restored with that in mind. The rooms are decently large and well-appointed, quiet and tastefully decorated in tune with the age of the house. It's not trendy, but it is delightful. The bed was huge, soft and comfortable, and we could sleep really well, especially since each room has a very quiet but effective air conditioning unit. The owner has not scrimped at all; the bathroom is huge, with both a full bath and a separate shower, two washbasins, marble (?) walls and floors, and soft towels. Even the tooth-mugs are of impressively heavy glass. For a night, we were the guests in a stately home.

Excellent quiet location on the outskirts of the city with beautiful nature. The people who provide this accommodation are very nice. Everything went great.

Large accommodation with kitchenette and living room separate from the loft bedroom. The hosts were lovely and offered much information about Mons and the local attractions. And provided beer and bottled water in the small fridge. Delightful breakfast. Free parking at the front of the property.
