Very modern interior in industrial style. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It’s 20,25min walking from and to the city center, but there is also a bus nearby or you can just take a cab. It’s well connected. We didn’t mind being a bit outside the center. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, home made yogurt with granola and fruit was my favourite.

This place is so magical. Full of contemporary and very creative design delights combined with a stunning old building full of character and stories. It was comfortable and relaxing, near to all of the city highlights. Frederick was a great welcoming host with many stories and a genuine passion for the house he grew up in. Can't recommend this highly enough, it was one of the best places we have ever stayed in many years of travel. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at Hidden Gem!!!!! ---Location couldn't be better !!!! Just about 300 m. from Brugge train station, yet in a beautiful quiet green neighbourhood with charming houses . In front of the station you can take the Bus No 2 to the center (( get off at ''Djiver'' stop for'' Rosary quay ''and then a pleasant short walk to ''Burg'' and ''Markt '' squares )). Or you can take the ''shuttle Bus'' to center, ticket 1 euro, , 3 euro for the normal bus. (( getting ticket is easy, just tap your card on the small white device inside bus and that's all... no paper ticket )) ---Behind the house is the beautiful ''Lake of Love'' park, one of the must see in Bruges and crossing it you can make your way to all sights....If you wish a quiet coffee or drink, away from the crowds, by Bus No 2 get off at ''Jan Van Eyk.....''stop, or walk there ,in front of a beautiful square, magnificent church and canal view !!! Charming at night, too!!! ---Just outside the train station there is a Carrefour market.. ---Mrs Katrien, a far beyond'' kind and helpful'' hostess, a very sweet and geniously kind lady, offered us the most warm welcome ever together with important info and map and was at our disposal during all our stay ... prompt replies and exact directions before arrival....no words enough for her!! She is a diamond, indeed !! Talking with her was a huge pleasure !!! ---The house itself is so beautiful and inviting outside that and we felt happy the moment we reached the front garden door !!!! A green paradise-yard with table-chairs to sit and enjoy peace and relaxation !! ---The room is pretttier than in photos, very cosy, with 2 windows with beautiful views to the green back yard and a little far sight of the park and bridge behind the house ! Very relaxing !!!

Just perfect! Stylish design hotel. It's in old building completely renovated. There's a lovely courtyard with a small lake, a small courtyard by the canal. The room is beautifully equipped (there is even a working biofireplace) with designer furniture and accessories. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very cozy and makes you want to stay there again
