I stayed at this hotel for a brief stop, having previously experienced the Grand Mercure in both Phuket and Bangkok, where I had exceptional stays. I’ve always appreciated the high standard of service and hospitality at Grand Mercure properties, and overall, this stay was also pleasant.

The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket... The property was beautifully set on the beach. There was a delicious variety of food at breakfast and Chef Tao greeted us everyday. We especially enjoyed the lemongrass butterfly pea tea at the reception.

The place is like hidden gem in a small fishing village. Khanitta and her husband offer many wonderful tours for a reasonable price so you are never bored. In the morning you can choose from multiple breakfast options and if you want the same applies for dinner too. The mangrove hut has everything you could need, even a mini bar. All in all the best stay we’ve had.

Room is quite, very clean and modern, bed is very comfortable, AC works well, Shower area has space and places to organize clothes, etc. The external area is the most beautiful place you can imagine to stay! The restaurant is very convenient, food is great and prices are correct. It's 5 minutes walking from the beach and few more minutes walking to the place in the main street where you can find supermarkets, restaurants, stores and massages. Although hotel is in the main street, rooms are in the interior side so atmosphere is clam, silent and peaceful. Bonus to the staff: helpful, kind and ready to solve any problem. I ordered a few packs on line to be delivered at the hotel and staff delivered directly to my room. Can't say how much I loved this palce!
