I stayed at this hotel for a brief stop, having previously experienced the Grand Mercure in both Phuket and Bangkok, where I had exceptional stays. I’ve always appreciated the high standard of service and hospitality at Grand Mercure properties, and overall, this stay was also pleasant.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in...Every member of staff was so welcoming from the lads working on the beach to the security on front gate into hotel.The beach is lovely and great for swimming..The breakfast is excellent as is the food in the restaurant. Every evening a different theme with food at the beach .The manager at reception Ae is brilliant at her job and so nice.We will definitely be back.

The whole experience at Khao Lak Marriott was wonderful from the moment of arrival, parking our car, assistance with our bags, and an easy check-in. An electric buggy whisked us to our room, which was delightful, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. The sandy beach was clean, overlooking the quiet and inviting Andaman Sea, plus the choice of resort pools allowed for some serious or playful swimming. All resort staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable, and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Good buffet breakfast included in the price and wide food choice otherwise available all day at the resort. Thank you, Marriott, for a lovely stay.

For the price, this hotel is really good value. Close to a main shopping strip with restaurants, cafes, 7/11 and bars. The rooms are set on this beautiful coconut plantation and I have to say it is very well maintained. Rooms are relatively small (expected for the price) but very clean and cosy. We didn’t try out the pool but it looked a bit small - more for a quick dip. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
