I was nervous about the small size of the room before we arrived, but one we saw how it was designed and organized, we found it to be perfect for our needs. Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and at a breathtaking location.

Location is the best in town to watch the NYE fireworks. They allow hotel guests a privileged part of the rooftop to enjoy the 360 view. The rooftop bar serves amazing drinks and food. The Friday night kabab menu was the best meal we had in Funchal. Croissants are delivered daily to your room. All this is wonderful, but the customer service is what sets Three House Hotel apart. The room, the staff, the restaurant and the position close to the city center. They also offer breakfast takeaway for who, like us, wanted to start an hike early in the morning. We didn’t find anything we would like to be improved.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. I loved absolutely everything. The ocean view from the hotel was just woooow. The food was amazing. The stuff was the sweetiest ever. I wish I knew the name of a blonde woman who was purely the most lovely person ever. Thank you!

Really nice hotel in a central location of Porto Moniz and has a small parking lot (probably gets busy quick in high season but there is paid lots nearby for 5 Euros a day). The pool on the top of the roof is lovely and has an amazing view. The room was really modern, with a balcony over looking the water and really clean. The breakfast was really nice. The staff was awesome, especially the woman who gave us our welcome drink and was working during breakfast. They also gave everyone a free bottle of sparkling wine on the first night.
