Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and at a breathtaking location.

He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Fab buffet breakfast.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms. Every room includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Breakfast very good, everything fresh (slices of cheese, 3 kind of slices meat, butter, jams, honey, joghurts, cereal, milk, cooked eggs, tomatoes, mozzarella, salad, fruits, juices, teas, coffee machine with all type of coffees, hot chocolate, 2 types of bread, 4 types of breadrolls). A lady at the mornings cares about breakfast - very clean, quick and nice. Lidia at reception also extremely nice, was making phone calls about my reserved trips etc. I got a towel for our trip just in case of swimming in volcanic pool, we could leave our luggage till collection of airport taxi. All staff was very nice. They cared about us. At the arrival bottle of wine and a cake! :-) Nice surprise. We highly reccommend this place. Location brilliant!!!

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Delicious breakfast, exceptional dinner and an infinite pool. For breakfast, you could choose from 5-6 warm meals (eggs, French toast, asparagus..) and a cold buffet (from cereals, croissants and local cheese to pastel de nata). The portions from the menu were smaller but in combination with the cold buffet, the breakfast was just awesome! We stayed in the with the "garden view ", however we could still see and hear the sea. The view was stunning.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens. I loved absolutely everything. The ocean view from the hotel was just woooow. The food was amazing. The stuff was the sweetiest ever. I wish I knew the name of a blonde woman who was purely the most lovely person ever. Thank you!

When I realized I had forgotten my phone charger at my hotel in Lisbon and started to panic, the staff kindly let me use the reception area to charge my phone. I was truly saved — I do really thank the wonderful female staff member enough for her kindness!
