Diogo, Ms Khaleesi and their three little dragons offer probably the warmest home-away-from-home experience one can possibly wish for. From his first "Welcome home!" as I had stepped through the door, Diogo made sure I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my extended stay. Aside from the attentive hosts, nothing beats the unlimited washer-drier availability, with separate shoe drier gadget and a mud cleaner available in case you get caught by a storm along the hike. A warm fireplace and additional blankets take care of the winter chill, not to mention a complimentary cup of local wine, hot tub showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. I could not recommend this place more.

The beach is around 800 metres from the guest house. Amazing stay, rooms are very cozy and the beds are super comfortable. Location is great, you can walk anywhere. The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Castle House and Beach features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. The homestay has family rooms. So many options within walking distance of Castle House: restaurants, beaches, clothing stores, to mention just a few. We did not stay in the self-catering studio, but our coffee station deserves a 10. The bed and linen were perfect. A small steam iron was the cherry on top as we desperately needed one. There is a small garden inside the property, which provides a lovely calming space. There is plenty of parking around Castle House.

Great communication with our host, who also sent a lot of information of Almograve, which was very helpful. Spacious and well equipped house with a small garden, which greeted us with a bottle of wine and some sweets. Last, the house is also rentable for just one night, which was perfect for us!

The facility was gorgeous, tastefully decorated and very clean. I was travelling solo and always felt safe and Heather and Maria were outstanding hosts, even packed me a lunch for my drive to the airport!
