Everything was soooo Puuur-fect, and for the stay to be even more pleasant and to feel more like home, for that was in charge HH 🐱 The room was very clean and modern, the rooftop was with amazing view on the sea and on the mountain, and the breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and very beautifully served. We want to thank all the employees there, they all have been very helpfull and always smiling, but esspecially to Emi and Sky 🫶 and please hug HH from us (we miss him)! Hope to visit you again.

We loved our time at The Funny Lion - the facilities are excellent, staff greet you by name and are great at helping with anything you need to help the stay be incredibly smooth. The location is superb, right next to the Town Square in El Nido. It’s very easy to hire scooters or jump into a trike from here and get to all the main tour areas. The treat every night with the turndown service was also a lovely addition. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at The Funny Lion.

The main dining/ chilling area is so cool - so many areas to chill and read etc. we (myself & my bf) totally switched off and loved our stay here!!!

I decided to make an exception and stay at a hostel (instead of getting a private room with bathroom at a hotel) because the vibe and personality of this place are just so awesome!! I ended up paying for two persons for a doubleroom, just so that I could have a private room all to myself. Great stay! Excellent customer service -Fantastic location!! P.S. after I checked out, I was supposed to do a 4 day/3 night Expedition tour from El Nido to Coron (booked through another company). When the expedition got canceled and I had no place to stay (because all accommodations in El Nido were fully booked), the girls (Ellen, Marielle, (and Celeste)) were going out of their way trying to help me find a place to stay on the island. I genuinely appreciate the care that they showed the whole time. I feel genuinely valued and cared for, not only as a hotel guest but as a guest of the Philippines. There is free private parking and the property provides free airport shuttle service. The staff was exceptional! Especially Emi, she was very acommodating. Realy close to the beach with great options for food. We loved staying here so much, we booked with a sisterhotel in Nacpan. A bit expensive but def best hotel in the PH! Salamat from Sou&Mou
