As soon as we entered our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find it beautifully decorated, courtesy of the thoughtful staff at The Funny Lion. The romantic ambiance, complete with rose petals and delicate touches, created an atmosphere of pure bliss. It was evident that the staff had taken great care to make our honeymoon truly special. During our stay, I encountered a minor inconvenience in the form of insect bites, and to my surprise, Feb went above and beyond to find me an insect bite lotion. Her kindness and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly commendable, and it made a world of difference in ensuring our comfort. The building and amenities have been thoughtfully designed with eco-friendly principles in mind, making it a perfect choice for conscious travelers. The Staff were very nice, the Food was top notch, fresh, local ingredients with a different menu every day. We stayed at the Lux Tipi which was the only one with a private bathroom and we were treated with a wonderful spacious hut with a beautiful good sized terrace with hammocks. The vibe was super relaxed and was the perfect balance between nature and comfort!

The location is very peaceful, a little outside of Port Barton, but there are nice places nearby where you can go for dinner. A special shout-out to Mac, the reception manager. She went above and beyond, helping us organize transfers even a month before our arrival. She also arranged our excursions and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much!

April and her team organized private tours for us and checked in every day to make sure we are ok. The location is very good in a quiet part of the town but 5min away from all the action. We took advantage of the free scooter every day which was extremely convenient. The room has everything you need inside and although the entrance is in front of the bar/reception, was very quiet and private.
