Omg this was by far one of the best accommodation I stayed at on my travels around the Philippines. (And that includes hotels at other islands). The Staff Mercedes and Pearl were so lovely and super helpful. Actually every single staff member I spoke with went out of their way to help me from even letting me borrow their flip flops as I'd hurt my foot and staying up to let me in and show me around when my flight arrived late. The facilities are really good and I thought were really eco friendly but stunning too! Everyone was really respectful at the hostel so I lucked out! I stayed for 3 nights the beginning of Jan and their sister place hungry monkeys was delish to eat at. There's a lot of really lush places to eat and drink nearby too. Thank you so much for being great hosts, I really loved my stay here and would recommend to anyone!

When she realised the TV was not working she immediately went to town to pay for subscription and the tv service was back in record time. Breakfast was great too. The hotel itself is lovely simple and warm. I will surely come back given a second chance in Moalboal.

It was about a block off the main street so you didn't hear the motorbikes and horns. But still only about a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. There was a good variety of breakfast options but I always ordered the scrambled eggs, bacon, and juice. The owner was very good at helping me setup: - Canyoneering to Kawasan Falls - Whale shark viewing in Oslob - Motorbike rental for the day - transportation to/from the Cebu airport All responsibly priced!

Fantastic hosts : Anna and her partner Maxime made me feel like part of the family, they are absolute gems ! Always available with a big smile on their face. They go the extra mile to answer any needs, they are very friendly and welcoming. I will miss them dearly. The property : the hostel is small which makes you feel like home (the name of the hostel is definitely adequate). The dorm offers single and double bunk beds with shared bathroom or a private room. Good mattress and pillow, privacy curtains all around your bed, AC woks well. Great value for money ! Location : ideal ! You can walk to the beach (sardines run) and to town where you’ll find plenty of restaurants & bars. Food : Free drinkable water and coffee available all day long. The host Anna cooks and offers a free “bundle fight” meal every Friday night to gather the guests together and make you discover a very Filipino traditional meal. You definitely dont want to miss it ! The breakfast is very affordable and super yummy, vegetarian option available. Service : many tours available for the best price (cheaper than other places I’ve seen), Anna will help you get a scooter to rent or will call you a tricycle if needed (once again, best prices since she is Filipina and has good contacts) The free Wifi connection is great, didn’t have any issue. Free card games / board games available to use for rainy days. Laundry service available. Cleanliness : you share a bathroom with your fellow travellers and the shower & toilets are aside so obviously it can get messy with sand and water (just like everywhere else in the Philippines). Just kindly let Anna know and she will take care of it right away ! The room was clean and the bedsheets smelled amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you guys, you made my stay unforgettable.

Location is about 15 minute drive from panasanga beach, but the hotel has a free shuttle bus until 5 and after that can arrange a tuk tuk driver for you. The excursions we booked through the hotel were also fantastic!

The family is really nice and helpful, anything you need they will help you with and will help you get around the island. You can also book tours with them. We did our laundry with them and was really clean and smell so nice :) we highly recommend staying here

A good location for a relaxing holiday in San Francisco, Camotes Cay Hideaway is an apartment surrounded by views of the sea. The property features a private beach area, garden and private parking among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Something truly incredible. Not in some extra poshy way - but the place is few of a kind, with amazing views, no crowds (just three bungalows - multi-room apartments), your own fully private white sand beach, with crystal clear water full of different sea stars.. and best memories go to fantastic, attentive, supportive hosts - Bill (also known as Ben, Edward and Hot air balloon captain) and Christina, and their wonderful dogs (especially Too Big). PS. Camotes Cay is just 15 mins by walk, 10 mins paddling by bangka boat from local fishermen, or 3 mins by scooter from another, wide Santiago beach and few tavernas / shops there. Camotes islands away from crowds of Cebu, El Nido, Bohol and similars - are not yet spoiled by tourism in all good ways. Hope to come back soon, as long that stays this way.
