The food is outstanding, with different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal was delicious, and we kept wanting to try more! The yoga deck is a dream, whether for the daily classes or your own training session (there are even some weights available). There’s also a beach volleyball court, a stargazing area, a gorgeous pool, and direct access to a beautiful beach for long walks. Plus, they offer massages, tours, and easy access to diving centres (about 20mins away) in Santa Catalina, which made it the perfect base for our PADI certification. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and Anthea, whose story and passion for this place shine through in every detail. Their love for music adds a special touch to the atmosphere, making it even more unique. The vibe is social yet laid-back, like a boutique retreat with the warmth of a hostel, but for all types of travelers—singles, couples, families, and friends alike. Honestly, everything was perfect. Catalina’s Hideaway was one of the absolute highlights of our three-week adventure in Panama, and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Villa Coco is located 15 min walk or 5 min bike ride (free) from Playa Estero, a famous spot to learn surfing and enjoy the beach. The town center, 10 minutes away, offers multiple restaurants and bars and the takeoff spot for the UNESCO world heritage Coiba, bookable in the hotel. Everything was great, very nice and friendly people, the bungalows were very modern, clean and well equipped, beautiful outside area, very nice to relax and explore Santa Catalina

This property is about 3 hours’ drive from Enrique Malek International Airport in David City. Estero Beach is 1.5 km away. i loved my cozy, clean room. there is a wash down area for your feet (which can get muddy on the beach). the restaurant was great - so many choices - i could not choose but the chef/owner,juan is obviously gifted in the kitchen. it was a nice gesture to give the dinner guests a sample at the beginning of the meal. my small issues with mechanical stuff - a stuck key and ac remote that was dead- were handled immediately and with a smile (thanks chris!!)

Friendly owners and staff, help us a lot before and during our stay. I highly recommend Casa Maya, Paola and his husban are amazing. Thanks for everything!
