The style and comfort were tantamount to a 5 diamond hotel. The owners were absolutely amazing. I can not stress how important they made each and every guest feel, like you were not just a guest but part of their extended community.

Enjoyed the location, just outside of Bocas Town Centre, peaceful quite and a superb view over the water, a place to watch the water taxis going about there business. The owner David was the perfect host, so helpful with advise on Bocas where to eat and which people to contact to organize Island trips.

The location is unbeatable, the facilities were beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We particularly loved the salt water pool, and the sauna/cold plunge combo. The breakfast and food in general was amazing (there are not tons of options on the menu but each meal we ordered was very well executed). We will definitely be back again!

Carlo and his wife are lovely and extremely helpful. if we ever go back to Bocas, I know where we’ll be staying!

It was really beautiful place, different from any hotel I've ever been to, and different in good way. Close to nature with animals, kitchen to cook in. Super tasty breakfasts. Pierre and Manon who are running this property with a lot of LOVE are incredible people worthy of admiration! They bought a house with a good amount of land around it and have constructed several cabins, a yoga deck, a restaurant and a boat house over the last few years. Ataraxia has its own pier, so boatmen will easily take you there from Isla Colon. At the back of the property, there is a nature reserve, a jungle with so many treasures! We were able to spot the red frogs, caimans, a racoon, yellowtail birds, giant turquoise butterflies, turtles, giant ants, we rented a free kayak and paddled through the mangroves nearby, and we walked on several occasions to Old Bank, the main village on Isla Bastimentos, and once to Wizzard Beach. Manon also booked us a trip to Zapatilla (including sloth, dolphin and starfish spotting and snorkeling) and Pierre arranged our transportation to the airport. Several ideas for activities in the area conveniently presented in a booklet in the room (Zapatilla trip, Wizzard Beach hike, Red Frog & Polo Beach, bio-luminescence tour, etc.). Free kayaks and snorkeling gear available. If you are into botany and medicinal plants, you will have a lot to talk about with Pierre who planted so many of them around the property. Running a guesthouse in the middle of the jungle is a hard task, yet the couple somehow manage it and always keep smiling and interacting with guests at all times. Thank you very much, we will never forget our stay with you! You are a true inspiration! Be aware that: there is no hot water or AC and you cannot use a hairdrier, as the place runs on solar energy. There is wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very spacious. Cold drinks available in the common fridge and option to have dinner. Tasty and creative breakfast included.

Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel features a terrace, bar and on-site dining in Bocas Town. With free WiFi, this hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy sea views. Hotel is really well maintained, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a good family vacation. Rooms are spacious enough (we stayed 2 adults + 2 kids), with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has an in-house restaurant "pier 19" that is also really good and with a lot of options. Another plus, they have coffee, tea and drinking water available for free at all times for the guests. Location is great, in the main island "Isla Colon", yet is not in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, so is very quote and peaceful, but anyways within a 5 min walk to where all the action is..., is a perfect combination.
