Such a brilliant location with the most special view (even when we had a bit of rain on our final morning) and incredible surroundings. Photos really cannot do this place justice - it’s just beautiful and the little patio area is perfect for enjoying some outside time in this part of the world. This cabin offers a really unique and cosy stay, and we would definitely recommend. Having spent five weeks travelling around NZ and staying in many different types of accommodation, this was the standout! We could not have asked for better or more friendly hosts either - thank you so much David and Sandy, especially for all your tips while in the area!

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach, Beaches Nelson offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony or patio. It features a barbecue area, free bicycle rental and free WiFi. The staff were efficient in the set up, cleaning and daily running of the suites. Jacquie was great at communicating any changes or booking confirmations.

Arcadia Motel is situated just 3 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach. It has a solar-heated swimming pool and rooms with well-equipped kitchens. WiFi access is free. Would highly recommend this very well cared for motel which was in a great location and within walking distance of the beach. The owners made us feel welcome and were on hand to offer assistance.The unit we stayed in for 4 days was spacious with a sofa and comfortable extra large bed.

Beautiful apartment to stay in with plenty of room for us all. It was quiet, warm, comfortable and private with the added bonus of safely being able to park your vehicle under cover. This is a beautiful spacious house overlooking the beach that has everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and having ensuites for each bedroom was wonderful.
