This might be the nicest place we have stayed since beginning extended travel in retirement. It was a bit more than our budget, but we cooked our dinners to compensate, which worked out well as we really enjoyed being there in the evenings. The photos do a great job of showing the large bedroom, bathroom, and full kitchen. It's decorated like a home rather than a hotel, and has a large deck with a lovely view of the marina. It does take 10-15 minutes to walk into town, depending on your destination, but it's a lovely walk. We were able to arrange a ride into town with our luggage the morning we departed as we had already dropped a car off.

The location is fantastic, you can easily walk anywhere in Picton and there are many scenic walking trails nearby. We loved that we could wander onto the Main Street for dinner/drinks/coffee in under 10 mins. The apartment itself had everything we could need for our stay and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The living space is huge and the kitchen is well equipped so we enjoyed having this as a relaxing base to explore the region. There is even an outdoor area with fabulous view! Beds were comfy and the shower was great, definitely recommend!
