It has only been built for 4 years and is new. The location was excellent a short walk to the main street. The Com is attached to the Pub the Commercial Hotel so could pop in for a drink or a meal if you liked. The building design was quite different with separate motel rooms(almost a tiny home) separated by empty garages on two levels Our room had lovely afternoon sun. Plenty of parking and space. Built in front of the big rock cliffs of Whakatane and the Tuis were very busy in the bush in the morning - lovely.

It was clean, and well positioned near the beach (walking distance). Really comfortable home feeling but still feeling luxurious. Our point of contact for the property was amazing with superfast communication and really friendly

Great location, beautiful inside and out, super clean with amazing sheets and comforters, nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash, kitchen fully stocked and lovely, spa pool and all towels were very nice! Steve was the greatest host and us 8 adults were super comfortable here!
