Che was an amazing host with lots of local recommendations and helped us book a scooter, ATV and gave us recommendations for horseback riding. This is an incredibly unique and beautiful cabin that Che built himself as a labour of love for his original home on Ometepe Island. We felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on this absolute gem of a place to stay in one of the most special places in the world.

The farm stay features family rooms. One of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. We originally booked for 4 days and ended up staying for 10! If you like rustic and wild this is the place. Most certainly the best place to stay in ometepe. The tree house style rooms are amazing, the location is away from tourist hot spots and you are surrounded by trees, beautiful flowers, birds and monkeys! Delfa and her family are delightful people to be amongst, made us feel right at home and her cooking...... well I'm missing it already! Thankyou finca la magia for such a beautiful time!!!

The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.

I spent way too much time in one rocking chair that I wanted to take home with me. Estelle the owner and her family give it a very homey touch. Filtered water is free! Highly recommend it.

Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!
