The location is perfect — right on the beach, very quiet, and not crowded. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. We joined the morning yoga classes at a very affordable price and it was really enjoyable. The food at the hotel was also good — fresh and healthy, with vegetarian and vegan options. If you want to relax and disconnect from the busy world, this is a great place. It’s simple but well organized, and we felt really comfortable the whole time

Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The bed and breakfast features beauty services and a shared kitchen. Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.
