Firstly, the communication was perfect, they responded very quickly and I felt very welcome with their messages. The room was comfortable and very clean, I mean very very clean and not a bit of dust! Amenities was great and nothing was missing. The staff was very kind and they make sure you feel home, that’s their motto. The location was great, lots of shops, eateries, malls, nightmarkets nearby. A complete getaway began with the boat ride across the bay to the resort. The drive to the Dragon Pearl Resort felt like we were escaping civilisation to begin with. When we stepped onto the boat the escape was complete. Three days in paradise cut off from the world beyond. The staff team were all awesome - friendly and happy to help with any question. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are basic but super clean and perfect for a chilled getaway. The manager Awie really looked after us, the food was simple and delicious. The dive team gave some great advice about snorkelling (we are not divers) which allowed us to explore local reefs. Additional drinks purchases were easy and work on an honest system, which is great and adds to the chilled and trusting vibe. We loved our three days of snorkelling, kayaking and reading whilst sitting in hammocks. We’ll definitely be back to stay again. Next time we’ll even dive.

We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!
