Every single person greets you with a smile and makes you feel truly special. I also had the pleasure of meeting the Resort GM, Mr. Thaha Yoosuf, and was really impressed by the resort’s commitment to sustainability and reef protection. The ongoing beach nourishment project helps preserve the island and its coral reefs from erosion - it’s great to see a resort taking such responsible steps to protect its natural beauty. The management is now finalizing an exciting new addition - a collection of stunning water villas on the resort’s iconic sandbank. We can’t wait to come back with our family and friends to experience it! A huge thank-you to Chef Chaminda from the Aqua Restaurant - every meal felt like dining at a Michelin-star restaurant ⭐️, an unforgettable culinary journey. And our butler Simal deserves special praise for making sure everything ran perfectly smoothly throughout our stay. Our Villa attendant Suranga did an excellent job of keeping our water villas in a perfect condition. Shattu from the WaterSports section provided both useful lessons and entertainment to both of our sons - thank you so much for keeping all our water activities safe and so full of fun 🤩! Sun Siyam Vilu Reef remains one of our all-time favorite Maldivian resorts — a perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and heartfelt service. Highly recommended! 🌺

Angsana Velavaru is a family friendly resort, and has an indoor and outdoor kids’ club, which offers a wide variety of activities including babysitting services. Both water villas and beach villas were comfy and clean. One of the main advantages of this place is the Staff. They were super responsive and polite. I would certainly recommend this place for a visit.
