I've been to over 50 countries and have stayed in amazing places but I can't think of anything that surpasses the experience of a vacation at Royal Island Resort. It was truly magical, a paradise. I had high hopes but it exceeded all of my expectations. The island itself is perfect, with beautiful beaches, warm water, interesting wildlife, and beautiful trees and flowers. The cabins are comfortable and I loved the outdoor (yet private) showers. There are plenty of activities to choose from but I was totally happy just being in the water and hanging out on the beach. The all-inclusive buffet restaurant provided a variety of delicious food that I never got tired of. And I had the best massage of my life at the spa. All that said, perhaps the thing that I'll remember the most are the people. The service cannot be better -- everyone was so welcoming, so kind, so friendly. This is truly a 5-star resort in all aspects and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have visited. I'll return as soon as I can.

With garden views, Tropical Tree is set in Fehendhoo and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, children's playground and picnic area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The accommodation offers luggage storage space, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. The Tropical tree is a great place to stay. It has its own beach. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. Always well cooked. We had half board and it was a good choice. There are not a lot of other restaurants on the island. The Christmas beach BBQ party was great. We also had grilled fish other days. The stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. We take 2 boat trips and they were very interesting and well organized. We went for turtles trip and fish feeding. We didn’t see turtles but visited other interesting places for snorkeling. We would like to thank the owner Jabu for our stay.

Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house in Kendhoo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property has garden views. All units are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a kettle, a bath, a hair dryer and a desk. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, units at the guest house also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms are equipped with a patio. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Perfect hotel, very nice staff - they assisted us at all the times. You can take for free snorkeling equipment in-house.

Located in Finolhus in the Baa Atoll Region, 15 km from Baa Atoll, Kiha beach features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. The hotel has a barbecue and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The best location on the island. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room big and clean, and the food delicious. Its a very peacefull place, perfect for relaxing. The best part of the place is the beach located right in front of it, very quiet with very few people on it. And ofcourse the view from the room. I would also recommand taking a massage in the hotel spa as I did. Wonderful!

Three Hearts Guesthouse and Villas is a recently renovated guest house in Fulhadhoo, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and garden. Located on the beachfront, this property features a shared lounge. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything about our stay was amazing. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room size was great and having a safe was a nice peace of mind. We had storage space to hang our clothes in the room and a drying rack in the bathroom. The bathroom was also very spacious. Walking outside of the room, you're immediately walking into a sandy living room and dining area. Always good music playing. The beach was absolutely stunning. It's about a 15 minute walk through a palm forested road. The white sand and azure blue waters were beautiful. I really appreciated all the communication and information from our hosts, Elvira and Simbe, prior to check in. This made our stay run smoothly. They booked our speedboat transfers, special beach dinner, and dolphin tour. All were amazing!

The property has a bar, as well as a tennis court. The resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, karaoke and a kids' club. The resort boasts stunning natural features and exudes a barefoot vibe throughout. The coral reef is in exceptionally good condition, with a fascinating array of wildlife! The bars and restaurants are excellent as well, though the main restaurant is dominated by Indian flavors. An excellent choice for a quiet and peaceful retreat.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff at any property make our stay good or bad. This was such an excellent staff who worked together to make our visit a joy! No request was impossible and we felt pampered beyond our expectations. Being met at the airport by Sumesh at night was a great start. The head waiter Biraj was so welcoming and did a great job of advising us of ingredients in the food as we have a strict vegetarian diet. The chef made us fresh oatmeal every morning and accommodated special requests easily. He even made us cake with our eggs! Food is important so we have great appreciation for all of them. Boat rides out to see rays and colorful reefs were a treat and affordable. One of the kind owners was our guide and pointed out rays, sharks, octopuses and things we might have missed without him. Our last night Biraj traced a large heart in the sand by the water and they lined it with candles. Our dinner table was placed inside the heart. It was so thoughtful and the whole staff was so friendly and attentive! We felt like we’re were at a fancy resort being treated like royalty by men who enjoyed their work and did it lovingly. I could go on and on but you have to go have your own experience with this special place. I know we’ll be back again.

Staff is able to converse in English, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Thai and Mandarin Chinese. Dusit Thani was a real treat, and was the perfect tonic after an intense 12 months of work. Snorkelling at the UNESCO biosphere reserve was a true highlight. Shout out to the staff who were all wonderful, especially the footballers at the market. Great to see the organised soccer matches for staff at nightfall - makes you think that staff are well looked after which contributes positively to the overall experience. It was also nice to see John the General Manager getting around the tables at dinner time to speak to the residents - it was a nice personal touch. Accommodation, food, the amenities - all amazing, and cycling around the island turned out to be a whole lot of fun. We will return!

Dining highlights at Dhuni Kolhu Coco Palm include Cowrie, which features hearty international buffets in a large open-air pavilion. Staff can arrange intimate in-villa dining experiences. Two bars, including one on the beach, are perfect for relaxing and watching the sun bid farewell to the day. Yes, there is something bad about this place: eventually, you will have to leave and go home! Absolutely awesome experience, from the crew to the food, our stay was pure joy. The place is fabulous, the features and lagoon piloti villas are perfect, the attention of the crew is just enough. Special thank you to Oahab for his professionalism and for setting up a perfect room everyday, to Zaaid for his energy and experience during the tours and to Didi for being the best waiter and an absolute gentleman. We will be back as soon as we loose the weight we gained from the delicious buffet. The island is a wonderful quiet paradise, they will provide you with snorkel kits and you will see turtles, manta, sharks and a million other colourful fishes. Don’t hesitate and book already!
