I loved this place. The apartment was very stylish and modern, with a nice kitchen and bathroom, and a huge and very comfortable bed, nice sofa for watching telly and a big area outside as well, with a fan so you could be outside but be (a bit) cool. The garden was beautiful the the pool has saltwater, feels nicer than chlorine. I was working in Port Louis, and it was perfect for my commute - I jumped in the car in the morning and left it at the park and ride at Coromandel metro. Lovely to watch the bats and birds in the evening, and not be in the city. I would definitely recommend this place for business travellers on a budget wanting to get out of the city. This is not a touristy area, which I also liked. The hosts are lovely, they had something ready for me to eat when I arrived on the first evening as all the shops were already closed, and they lent me a sun hat for a spontaneous kayaing trip - it's not a long drive to Tamarin Bay from here.

Exceeded all expectations , particularly just how warm, welcoming and attentive the host was. Beautiful decorated and maintained throughout , very much like a designer boutique hotel but with the bonus of being homely and relaxed. High quality furniture, bedding , towels etc and the food both breakfast and evening meals were delicious and presented like a top class restaurant. Very safe and secure and quiet and peaceful .

The ocean is only a few minutes away as is a grocery store and a fantastic local gym. Guest services in this boutique experience are managed by Oliver who is nothing short of professional in every aspect of his job all the while offering a big hearted warmth and sincerity to everything he does. The dining room support staff and room cleaning staff are also top notch professional and kind. While staying here you'll have the opportunity to experience fresh caught local fish personally cooked by Oliver and if your lucky his signature tapioca bisque, truly fantastic. Mauritius is lovely and for me Villa Alizzee was the perfect introduction to it. Don't be disuaded by the location being out of the main town center, it's a perfect location and transportation is easily accessible, if required, the owner will even rent you out one of his vehicles.

Situated on the beach in Baie du Tombeau, 9 km North of Port Louis, and surrounded by tropical gardens, Cocotiers Hotel offers a heated outdoor pool and children’s pool. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good.
